SEATTLE, WA - Zoom is rolling out a new feature that will allow younger users to instantly tune out their parents every time they start talking on a Zoom call.

"It can be really difficult to be on a Zoom call and also have to take care of your own kids who are also on a Zoom call," said Zoom spokesperson Phoebe Snaggletree. "This new feature allows young users to immediately tune out their own parents so they can get back to doing whatever they were doing without their parents bothering them."

Children under eighteen will be given a special button on the Zoom interface that, when pressed, will make it so that they cannot hear or be heard by their parents. According to Zoom, this will instantly allow the children to resume their call without parents, no matter what their parents wanted to talk to them about.

The feature also automatically sends a text message to the parents, telling them that their child cannot be bothered at the moment and suggesting that they send a text message instead.

According to Zoom, the feature has been a massive hit and is currently being used approximately 987 trillion times per day.
