Single Woman's Emotional Support Friends To Be Mistaken For Girlfriends For The Rest Of Her Life
TEMPE, AZ — Melanie Jensen is single and loves hanging out with her emotional support friends, fellow single females who will undeniably be mistaken for her girlfriends for the rest of her life.
"Yeah, it happens a lot," Jensen said, sitting at lunch with three of her emotional support friends. "Sometimes, men even come over and hit on the girls I'm with! That's so crazy! I don't know why they would do that in the first place."
Jensen's extra support from females is not only great at satisfying her pursuit of being independent but not lonely, but they are also capable of looking at guys nearby and making little duck face grins at them to communicate moments of scorn only they can understand.
"If the guys are new to seeing an all-girls group and mistakenly give romance a shot, we laugh," best friend Miranda said. "[A girl group in a bar is] always together way too often to ever show any real potential of romance. How stupid would a guy have to be to try and start talking to us?"
At publishing time, despite really being there for emotional support motives, Melanie Jensen and her three best friends landed four free drinks at a local bar, crediting heavy eye contact and giggles made possible by their female entourage of overly feminine typecasts.
