Sick of Recreating Trending Costumes on TikTok, Woman Turns to #HearMeOut for Inspiration
SHEBOYGAN, WI — Tired of rehashing the same trending costumes on TikTok, like the ubiquitous green-clad Brat, local woman Bryce Thibodeau turned to the hashtag #HearMeOut for some truly unique Halloween inspiration.
"I'm fed up with just copying what everyone else is doing," she declared, meticulously applying curls to her Sad Frodo wig. "This year, for Halloween, I’m embracing my true self by transforming into a 'Hear Me Out' character I’m not even a little embarrassed to have a crush on."
As she browsed through an assortment of cake designs, she landed on a cake featuring young Frodo from the animated Rankin/Bass adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. "Now this one is a real gem," she exclaimed, snatching up a pair of scissors to prep the image on a stick. With a flourish, she inserted it into the cake, surrounded by cartoon depictions of semi-unattractive men.
"Maybe this fall, people will finally start appreciating some of the classic costumes like 'Order Miraluka,' 'Cat with DRIP,' or 'Witcher Writer,'" continued Mrs. Thibodeau, her excitement growing.
At publishing time, Bryce had already staked a claim on another cake sensation, dubbing it "Working Goblin" for her upcoming Christmas festivities.
