Larry Page Announces Plan To Replace All Employees With AI-Generated Fakes
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Google co-founder Larry Page has announced ambitious plans to replace all his employees with sophisticated fakes generated by Google AI.
According to Page, an AI program would be able to replicate the competencies of any human, argue with no risk of being correct, and work for a fraction of the cost, making it the obvious solution for staffing concerns.
"Using AI to replace my employees is the logical conclusion to decades of Google paying me to think," Page stated.
"For the cost of a single human being, I can have an entire server farm generating thousands of false experts spewing random thoughts onto computer screens and delivering useful answers when asked-an interweb thing I believe I invented," he added.
"Besides, most of them are already working for AI companies. It's a win-win!"
Page revealed that hundreds of his programmers were already actively engaged in efforts to replace Google Search with AI chatbots, resulting in significant cost savings.
At publishing time, Page had ordered his staff of synthesized employees to begin preparing for their Turing tests.
