Haley Announces She Will Stay In Presidential Race Just To Spite Donald Trump
CHARLESTON, SC - After being urged by most members of the Republican party to drop out of the presidential race, Nikki Haley announced Thursday that she will stay in the race just to spite Donald Trump.
"I know I've lost the first few primaries and am trailing far behind Trump in the polls, but I'm going to keep running just to show him who's boss," said Haley at a campaign stop in South Carolina. "If he thinks I'm dropping out just because he told me to, he's got another thing coming."
The former Ambassador to the United Nations reportedly has no plans to actually campaign in the states where the remaining Republican primaries will be held, but she has lined up interviews with The Daily Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The View to let the American people know that Donald Trump is a big, dumb, stinky head.
"I implore all South Carolinians to RSVP to 'none of these candidates' if Trump forces us to have a primary next time around," said Haley. "I'm Nikki Haley, and I approve this message."
Political analysts expect Haley's defiance to cost U.S. taxpayers an additional $10-15 million in Secret Service protection for her out of sheer pettiness.
