Americ̷a̷n̷ Foodie Of Chinese Cuisine Lists 376 Must-Try Dishes
WASHINGTON, D.C. - American travel and food writer Jessica Dupree announced today the release of her latest book, Dupree's Delicious Chinese, which lists a total of 376 must-try dishes for those experiencing Chinese cuisine for the first time.
"It's important to me to be thorough and comprehensive when introducing newbies to a foreign food culture," said Dupree as she published her immense list that includes every known Chinese dish and also some she just completely made up. "From Peking duck to, oh, I have to remember to include Peking duck again under a different name, to soups, hot pots, and over 90 different dinner buns because every region's are unique and yet so much the same, it's all in there. Readers will never have a question of what to try next."
Dupree's book is already being hailed by at least three famous chefs and one janitor as the definitive guide to Chinese dining. "I thought I knew Chinese food, but Jessica has opened my eyes," said Chef Ming Tsai. "I was preparing to include a chapter on Chinese cuisine in my next book, but now I see there is no need. I will simply recommend Jessica's book."
At publishing time, Dupree had announced a special expanded edition of the book that will include a new foreword explaining there are a couple hundred more dishes you really should try, plus maybe one more book where she narrows it down to her top 300 Swedish foods.
