AI Now Capable Of Creating Video Game Worlds For NPCs To Rant About How Badly They Want To Give Genders To All Their Sim Offspring
U.S. — With the immense improvements made in AI in recent months, video game company Maxis revealed that video game NPCs would soon be capable of generating its own world to create speeches about the merits of gender pronouns and how bad they want to give their seven identical Sim offspring all-new genders.
"Video game NPCs in any series will be able to generate worlds within the sandbox to house rallies where they can talk all about how they want gender options for all their Sim children, who look identical in every way, and who should definitely get to have boy parts instead of girl parts," said Maxis CEO Natalie Hammond.
The new AI-generated world can apparently shift events and the environment based on whatever narrative the characters generate for themselves.
"We’ve allowed NPCs in our video games to generate sandboxed microcosms of existence," said AI expert Dr. Fei-Fei Li. "By implementing multi-world simulation scenarios, we’ve given NPCs the rudimentary ability to build rich worlds in which to rant endlessly about how bad they want more gender slots available for their fake Sim babies."
At publishing time, Sims 5 developers had announced a plan to add 150 gender slots for new Sim babies in the next update due next week after multiple rallies organized in several video games. "You can only make 100 genders! What on earth were you thinking?" one video game NPC exclaimed, before pausing to organize her next protest rally.
